Comic Book Reader files by Andrew Dow

These new editions of Power Records comic books are encoded as Comic Book Reader files. It's just like a .zip or .rar file, only they have their extension changed to .cbr. By using WinRAR to encode all of the jpeg image files of a comic into a single .rar or .zip file and changing the file extension to .cbr, you can load the entire set of jpeg image files into the CDisplay Sequential Image Viewer and skip through them at you leisure. You can zoom, enhance certain areas of the image or change the quality settings. Since Power Records are basically comics anyway, encoding them as .cbr files is a convenient way of viewing them. CDisplay Sequential Image Viewer is a very small .cbr reader program and it is a versatile tool. If you want to extract the jpeg images from these files, just rename the file extension to .rar and extract the images out of the file with WinRAR or 7Zip. If you have already downloaded the .zip files from this site, just rename the extension from .zip to .cbr and you can view the images in CDisplay Sequential Image Viewer. Enjoy!
